Greetings, I am Adam "OMEGA" Arnold. Omega's Digested Digest was a weekly e-zine that I created as a stray idea to keep track of all the important info/cool topics I was getting from my mailing list. It was also a thing for me to do over the summer, and continue into the future. As it turns out I decided to mail it to people I knew or had there e-mail address. I started with 50 subscribers, lost 10, added a second batch of 30 addresses next issue, and lost 6 members, over the next 3 months I gained about 10 members. The early issues did have their problems. I experimented ALOT with the first 5 issues of Digested Digest and didn't get settled down on set format until issue 6. I even pondered changing the title of the Digest, but then it wouldn't be a 'Digested' version of Digest then, would it? My topics range mostly from Anime to DC Comics to The X-Files to Sci-Fi at large. But, I have on occasion let other cool info and articles be put in DD. In fact I encourage others to submit articles to DD. DD has a few features that appear on a regualar basis, like Wizard's Top Ten, Legion of Super-Heros AOL chats (when avaliable), DC Comics Triva with answers, and in every issue are OMEGA's RAMBLINGS (gives an overview of various topics), and WEB SITE SHOWCASE (I showcase various web sites that are submited to me to showcase , and those I come across that are found helpful). Digested Digest did come to an end at Issue 18.... but out of DD's death came WEEKLY STUFF E-ZINE. Weekly Stuff E-Zine is basicly what Digested Digest was renamed to. In its' short time it hosted various reviews, a special History of Pioneer Anime segment, a highly popular 'Sex In Anime' segment, and in later issues Anime Crossword puzzels. At first WSE continued the tradition that Digested Digest had started, by bringing Sci-Fi/Anime/Comic Book/Video Game news to subscribers on a weekly basis. But, due to size and various complaints the e-zine spilt into two parts on focusing on Sci-fi/Comic Books and Anime/Video Games. This lasted for 3 issues and then a survey was released that proved the fate to WSE... WSE would continue weekly as a Anime/Video Game only magazine. This left the Sci-Fi/Comic Book subscribers left out, so they would be given a monthly e-zine in homage of the original e-zine, Digested Digest. The new e-zine would be called 'Weekly Stuff E-Zine presents: Digested Digest II'. Well, it seemed like a good idea. And it was. But e-zines don't ever have a steady reader base. Most people just look at the contents and zip through and delete the hard work of the writter. And thus after about 29 weeks of continuous publishing, Digested Digest/Weekly Stuff E-Zine has ended regular publishment. Digested Digest/Weekly Stuff E-Zine is officially on hiatus pending review and revision. One day the efforts of creator Adam "OMEGA" Arnold and his consultant/staff writter Kaneda and many unamed others will pay off and Digested Digest/Weekly Stuff E-Zine may rise from the ashes and finally emerge from the obsurity it has always known. OR maybe something else will emerge from the death of this e-zine. Until that time.... I am Adam "OMEGA" Arnold. Thanks for reading this. Well, enough talk. This little bit was edited together from 2 readme's that I had in my archive files which I've taken down. As you may know by know, an e-zine did emerge from DD/WSE's ashes... and that e-zine was Animefringe. And you can read the latest issue and all the back issues at http://www.animefringe.com/ Have fun. ^_^
