Bio: Patrick is currently working full-time for the second largest IT consulting firm in the world developing strange new code in languages unknown to mankind. He's in a long-term relationship with a great girl named Lauren, though marriage will come either when he can afford it or when she can take a break with Medical School. Position: Assistant Editor
Location: St John's, Newfoundland, Canada
Fav. Manga: Kare Kano, Adolf
Joined AF: January 2005
Bio: High school senior, planning to study journalism next year in college. When not reading manga or American comics, Shannon enjoys watching foreign movies (especially ones from Asia). This, combined with her anime watching, has given her the super-power of being able to read sub-titles so fast it borders on pre-cognitive.

Name: Tim Henderson
Position: Assistant Graphics Editor, Contributing Writer
Location: Blue Mountains, Australia
Joined AF: July 2005
Fav. Anime: Neon Genesis Evangelion, FLCL
Bio: Student extraordinaire and general hopeless coffee addict, I come from more of a film study and indie animation practice background than one of literature or journalism. Officially declared The Friday F**kwit on national radio back in April 2005, I can tend to go to bizarre extremes to amuse myself, and have been known to sit for three hours with burning bleach on my scalp ‘just for kicks’. At present I am working on a couple of oversized projects, including trying to find a way to fabricate time so that I can re-discover what sleep actually feels like, but so far all I've learned are a few bizzare facts about fish.

Bio: Arg! I'm still in High School! Pity me people! I've taken college courses already, and intend to major in East Asian studies. Really, I haven't lived enough of my life out to say anything about it. I learn Japanese in my spare time between sleep and anime, and I've been watching since I was 5 or so. I've got some Taiwanese in me, so my relatives sent me some movies and I was hooked.

Name: Benedict Nguyen-Lee
Position: Contributing Writer
Location: Dallas, Texas, U.S.A.
Fav. Manga: Hikaru no Go, Kiddy Grade
Joined AF: June 2005
Bio: I'm going to attend the University of Texas at Dallas starting Fall 2005. I'm a bit undecided about my major right now, but I'm considering something in the social sciences. I probably began taking anime "seriously" as a hobby in the summer of 2002. Since then, I've been trying to get into helping the anime community in the best way I can. My most future goal would probably to at least understand the Japanese language decently.
