ROLE CALL! heheheheheh. Seriously though, here is where you will find out a little more about the handful of people who actually keep this site running. The staff contributes what they can from time to time, but we also encourage you to do the same. As always, if you'd like to help, we'd love to hear from you. And if you have the time and dedication, who knows, maybe you have what it takes to have your listing right here on this page. But in the meantime, feel free to read on and learn about us.

Adam "My name's Adam. I write stuff... I think..." Full Name: Adam Arnold Screen Name: "OMEGA" E-Mail: omega@animefringe.com Web Page: OMEGA's Vanishing Point First Influential Animes: Vampire Hunter D / Robot Carnival / Lensman (Sci-Fi Channel Anime Festival '93) Favorite Animes: Sailor Moon, Tenchi-Muyo!, El-Hazard, Fushigi Yugi, Battle Athletes, Bubblegum Crisis, Oh My Goddess!, Evangelion, Rayearth, Nadesico, Utena, and many more. Short Background: Animefringe's editor, world-famous star of Adamvision and unofficial drone of monotonous grunt-work. It was Adam's former e-mail newsletter, Weekly Stuff E-Zine, that was the fore-runner to the shiny, modern Animefringe we all enjoy today. Besides his man-sized appetite for anime and manga (and anime and manga accessories), he also enjoys DC Comics Superheroes, long walks on the beach, playing Space Channel 5, and ketchup. And yes, ladies, he is single! His main website, OMEGA's Vanishing Point, is where you can find a gateway to all those little things he does as hobbies. Adam's main contributions to Animefringe are articles, editing, HTML coding and site maintenance.

Steve "Hi, I'm Steve, and I live in a VAN down by the RIVER!!!" Full Name: Steve Diabo Screen Name: "Kaneda" E-Mail: steve@animefringe.com Web Page: None at the moment (working too hard on Animefringe, no doubt! ^_~) First Influential Animes: DB / AKIRA / Tenchi-Muyo! / Sailor Moon / Ninja Scroll (many others!) Favorite Animes: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, Saber Marionette J, Dragon Half, Slayers, Tenchi-Muyo!, Gunsmith Cats... Pretty much any anime I see. Short Background: Animefringe's graphics and web design-doing person. Since the very first issue, it's been Steve's job to make our crummy little magazine look pretty. Along with the obligatory penchant for anime, Steve also likes computers, multimedia design, all kinds of music, Iron Chef, Junkyard Wars, 80's teen cinema and he likes you, too. A lot. In fact, he won't stop talking about you. Steve's main contribution to Animefringe is design and layout, graphics, editing and the occasional article.

Dai "....Oi oi....." Full Name: Diana Kou Screen Name: "Seiya" E-Mail: diana@animefringe.com Web Page: ...remember me First Influential Animes: Bishoujo Senshi SailorMoon, Shin Seiki Evangelion, Ranma Nibun no Ichi, Street Fighter (although..not quite an anime at the time..) Favorite Animes: Bishoujo Senshi SailorMoon, Shin Seiki Evangelion, Shoujo Kakumei Utena, ALSO -- SeraMyu ! Short Background: Dai has experience in voice acting, and does work in many fandubs and radio plays. She is friends with many popular seiyuu, both English and Japanese. Diana Kou's Index Page serves as a gateway to her many, many online projects. You can also blame Diana for the former Michiru Kaioh's Mirror Mailings, one of the more legendary mailing lists in the Anime scene. Since then, she has been keeping busy on AOL, CosPlaying, and on Animefringe, of course. Her main contributions are interviews and research, and has given Animefringe the permission to reprint content from her archive of past Mirror Mailings. Yatta!

Short Background: Wataru's hobbies are making his own anime-style CGs, playing video games (many anime-related, of course...), and surfing the web, finding Anime stuff in all those hard-to-reach hidden areas. He also collects anime music and movies on his computer.

Mia "Oro?" Full Name: Mia Ortega Screen Name: "Flamiango" E-Mail: mia@animefringe.com Web Page: None at the moment First Influential Animes: Sailormoon (it's like a gateway drug) Favorite Animes: Rurouni Kenshin, Sailormoon, Oh! My Goddess, Saber Marionette J, Mononoke Hime, Dragon Half, Fushigi Yuugi, Vision of Escaflowne Short Background: The name may be Spanish, but Mia is part otaku at heart. She currently attends Virginia Tech, where she plans to graduate, well... soon, and hopefully own her own lemonade stand someday. When not drowning in homework, she enjoys doing art. She has completed many fanart works in various anime series. Her latest project is designing graphics for a Rurouni Kenshin webpage, her newest passion. Mia joined Animefringe in September 2000 and contributes articles and reviews.

Jake "I will make a living doing the things I like, or die trying! Well, as long as I find a one-up first..." Somehow he has managed to graduate from the prestigious USC film school, edit over 30 major manga titles in English, build LEGO displays for toystore windows, shoot a documentary on the social ramifications of marble collecting on small town West Virginia, and get payed to write about video games. Currently he is a freelance writer for Animefringe, tokyopop.com, and j-pop.com. He hopes to take over the world if the opportunity presents itself. If not, he'll be content to play with his toys and games.

Ridwan "I'm powered by NUCLEAR POWER!" Short Background: Holly is a vocal music major who is going to finish college someday. Animefringe strives to be, in time, one of the largest and most popular Anime sites out there. We feel we have what it takes, both in mind and body, to achieve this goal. It also wouldn't hurt to get those cool little press passes so we can see all the extra cool stuff you can't normally see at the anime cons. No, wait, that's not THAT important. What's important is you. Why? Because if you're here, reading this dull old paragraph, you *gotta* share a few things in common with us. Animefringe was made by Otaku, for Otaku, featuring exclusive and quality content we think you'll wanna read. We also want to be different than all the other big Anime sites out there, by allowing anyone to submit material to any of our sections. Not only does this allow Animefringe to contain oodles of great current news and features, but it also gets the surfer involved in a new kind of interactivity, which we feel will help bring the Anime community closer and in better harmony than ever before.
